What is cash-based Physical Therapy?
Cash-based physical therapy lets patients pay directly for services without using insurance. This method provides more flexibility in treatment and scheduling, allowing therapists to spend extra time with each patient for personalized care. Benefits include a wider range of services and less paperwork, helping focus on thorough treatments like manual therapy and dry needling. Patients experience clear costs and a supportive environment that involves them in their care. Overall, cash-based physical therapy meets the needs of both patients and therapists.
What do you treat?
We specialize in a wide variety of physical therapy techniques. We treat everything from spinal injuries, to shoulder, hip and knee pain to concussions and dizziness. We have expertise in TMJ and headaches as well as foot and ankle pain. Whether it’s chronic or an acute injury, we have seen it all. We see young athletes returning from injury or athletes in-season preventing injury from occurring. One thing we can assure you, we will give our best to who ever walks in the door.
Do I need a medical referal to make an appointment?
Minnesota is a direct access state, meaning you have the right to access physical therapy without a referral for 90 days. With that said, each specific insurance carrier is policy dependent regarding direct access. Please directly contact your insurance company to inquire about referral requirements for physical therapy services if you are not familiar with your carrier’s policy.
Do you accept my insurance?
We want to assure that you have the best care possible! With insurance premiums, deductibles, and co-pays continuing to increase, we want to focus on your optimal individualized care and avoid being limited by insurance companies. For this reason, we do not directly contract with any health insurance carriers. We are a cash-based physical therapy practice and we believe this is the optimal way of providing the best care that you deserve. If you wish to receive reimbursement for your visits we will provide an itemized invoice upon request for you to submit to your insurance provider. Please note this is always a individualized option based on your insurance provider.
How can I pay for my Visit?
We happily accept HSA and FSA, all major credit/debit cards, cash, or check. Payment will be requested on your day of visit. All visits booked on line will go through an online scheduling system and payment is required to finalize scheduling. If your HSA or FSA cards do are not accepted on the online portal, please call our office to schedule as we will collect payment at the time of treatment.
